My goal was ambitious: to become world champion and dominate the market. A twin-beam aluminium frame designed by Cobas, my engine built by HRC, and Showa suspension all played a part in achieving that.
With my prototype, Marc Colomer won the world championship in 1996, and with me, he secured the National Championship in 1997. Afterward, more victories came with Dougie Lampkin, Fujinami, and Laia Sanz. For many, I am considered the best bike in modern trial history: the last Montesa two-stroke.
