Tras el título mundial de trial con Tarrés en 1993, GasGas quiso ganar también en el Enduro y lo logró en 1994, en 125cc con Paul Edmonson, repitiendo en 1996 en 250cc. En 1999, llegué yo con el finlandés Peteri Silvan, logrando el tercer título en el Mundial de Enduro para GasGas, convirtiendo a mi familia, las EC, en un éxito en ventas.
After winning the 1993 Trial World Championship with Tarrés, GasGas set its sights on Enduro—and achieved it. In 1994, the brand secured victory in the 125cc category with Paul Edmonson, repeating the feat in 1996 in the 250cc class.
Then, in 1999, I arrived alongside Finnish rider Peteri Silvan, claiming GasGas’ third Enduro World Championship title and turning my family, the EC series, into a commercial success.
