Con 21 Campeonatos del Mundo en su palmarés, esta mítica marca española vio su primera gran victoria en 1969 con Ángel Nieto y su última en 2010 con Marc Márquez. Pero su historia se remonta mucho más atrás, hasta 1922, cuando Simeón Rabasa Singla abrió un pequeño taller de bicicletas. De aquel modesto origen surgieron las legendarias “Balas Rojas”. Su gran debut llegó en 1952 con la Derbi 250, la primera de la saga «Cabeza de Hormiga». En 1957 sorprendió con la 350, un modelo de gran potencia que incluso permitía conducir con sidecar.
